Isabella Dolande, Mezzo-Soprano

Isabella “Bella” Dolande, Mezzo-Soprano/Soprano, is a professional Musical Theatre Performer, singer, dancer, musician, and actress. She also teaches private voice lessons and freelances in social media marketing & arts administration. Her professional goals are to gain artistic representation and earn her Actor’s Equity membership to perform on Broadway.

Isabella graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, Butler School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and a Minor in Arts Management & Administration (May 2020). Having recently studied with Dr. Cynthia Morrow, she has appeared in the Butler Opera Center's productions of Cosi fan Tutte, Mark Adamo's Little Women, and Suor Angelica, and sang Alto in UT’s elite Chamber Singers choir. Isabella has also studied with Stacy Strakowski (Dept. of Theatre and Dance) for musical theatre and popular genres. In January of 2020, she participated in the NATS Musical Theatre Audition Masterclass with Michael Cassara, CSA.

Most recent appearances include Lettie in Something’s Afoot (Longmont Theatre Company), Betty Blast/Ensemble in Footloose: The Musical (Arts Hub Players), Meg March/Clarissa in Little Women the Musical, and Serena in Legally Blonde the Musical (Jesters Dinner Theater). In the Spring of 2019, Isabella played her first lead operatic role as Zemfira in Rachmaninoff’s one-act opera, Aleko, alongside her former professor of study, Nikita Storojev (Russian Speakers Society of Austin).
