Alex Gallo, Tenor

Alex Gallo, Tenor, is new to Wilmington. A native of Washington State, Alex earned his BA in Music: Vocal Performance, from Pacific Lutheran University. In the years following, Alex lent his vocal talents to numerous Seattle area groups. These include time with The Choir of The West, Seattle Opera, The Seattle Swedish Singers, The Seattle Gilbert and Sullivan Society, Leavenworth (WA) Summer Theater Company, and being a regular National Anthem Singer for The University of Washington Athletics Department.

His favorite stage roles include Frederic, (The Pirates of Penzance,) Rafe (H.M.S. Pinafore,) Billy, (Anything Goes,) and Henry (Next to Normal.) His favorite National Anthem performances include opening for Macklemore, performing at Husky Stadium, and performing for the College Softball World Series Playoff Regionals.

In the 10 months since moving to Wilmington, Alex has been busy! Alex recently performed with The Cape Fear Chorale as a featured soloist in Handel’s Messiah (Comfort Ye, Every Valley.) In addition, Alex is a Cantor at St. Therese Catholic Church, Public Announcer for Wilmington Sharks Baseball, and National Anthem singer for both the Wilmington Sharks and UNCW Athletics.
